A balanced effort and Pankey's best game of the season: 4-6 from the field, 8 rebounds, but warning signs. First, we have to hit free throws!! 13 for 25 from the line - 52% while we shot 47% from 3 point range. We beat the Peacocks pretty easily, but can't leave so many points at the stripe and expect to beat Iona or Can (or Quinny for that matter). Another: George is not himself - some lingering injury? Tonight 3-11, though 7 rebounds. Good game for Shane - 4-5 from downtown, so a much better player when he doesn't have rowdy fans getting into his head.

Like someone said in an earlier post, we've gotto get our mojo back. Tonight was a good start. If we take the rematch from Iona and split with Can, we're back in the mix for top of the MAAC - and as tough an opponent as anyone in March. In the beginning of the season we were finding a way to win the close games, and now some are slipping away. It's getting back that extra mental toughness that's easily shaken. I still have high hopes for the season. Go Jaspers!
